Naperville Public Works
Naperville Public Works Service Center is a 213,000 SF, $25 million facility awarded with basic LEED certification. The goal from inception was to deliver a LEED building, “On time and within budget.” Teamwork between Knight and McShane Construction ensured the goal was not only obtained, but exceeded by delivering the project under budget.
The seventeen acre site is now home to the city’s Department of Public Works. Five other governmental departments and community entities share the site, including Naper Settlement’s 22,700 SF artifact storage area for its living history campus.
