Jim Wolfe
Mr. Wolfe is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Knight. Mr. Wolfe is an attorney with past concentrations in transportation, labor relations, regulated industries, real estate transactions, the Railway Labor Act and government relations. He is responsible for leading strategic business planning for the corporation.

Kevin Lentz, PE
As President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Lentz manages all aspects of Knight’s operations. He is a hands-on leader, providing clear direction for project work and extensive technical expertise while building and maintaining strong working partnerships with clients and industry leaders.

Clayton Shipley, PE

Mr. Shipley serves as Vice President in charge of Knight’s south suburban office. Mr. Shipley has spent the majority of his more than 20 year career in private consulting with long-term experience in business management, personnel management, client relations, and consultant interactions. His leadership skills and wide-ranging engineering experience will be instrumental in expanding Knight’s presence in the south suburbs.

Mr. Shipley has managed an array of challenging Phase I, II and III engineering projects, including extensive work with IDOT and the Illinois Tollway, as well as experience with multiple county, municipal, and private sector clients. Mr. Shipley is knowledgeable in all aspects of civil planning, design, and construction work, allowing him to successfully manage important projects of all sizes.
